Portland, OR-based tinkerer - a little of this, a little of that.

My interests are many and I fancy myself a jack of all trades. But if you know the rest of that expression, you know one of my secret fears. Contrary-wise, that fear is assuaged by feeling comfortable getting my paws into a variety of fields and media. Whatever form my personal expression may take, I like to explore the ways in which art is a language of community and how one's personal world becomes a signifier of our hopes and dreams for the commons.

My alter-ego is an American Sign Language interpreter - a very different yet, I find, complimentary occupation for a visual and performing artist. My favorite media of the moment are linocuts and puppets great and small. Other favorite pastimes include collaborating with other artists, making people-activated installations, and residencies.
